Lisa Fortunato, a.k.a. Robbie's mom, founded robbie dawg, inc. ®
in August of 2003. Robbie, a Tibetan Spaniel, was turning a year old
and Lisa wanted to celebrate his birthday with a party, cake, and goodie bags
for all of his canine friends. Unable to find suitable treats, Lisa, developed
her own recipes. Robbie and his friends were so excited with these biscuits that
Lisa decided to use her creative talents and to work on something she loves.
Each robbie dawg, inc. ® biscuit is handcrafted, baked fresh
daily using only the finest and freshest organic ingredients. We are proud to
bake dog biscuits that are both healthy and flavorful. Biscuits containing meat,
cheese or vegetables are crafted using free-range poultry, organic meat, and
eggs and dairy products come from hormone-free, antibiotic free animals. We are
dedicated to baking with organic products; for a complete listing please refer
to our ingredients page.
Robbie
dawg, inc. ® also supports and maintains a committment to our community
by supporting non-profit organizations through product donations. We are proud
to announce our new partnership with the Bide-a-Wee Foundation, the
companion animal welfare society whose no-kill adoption centers have found
loving homes for more than one million dogs, cats, puppies and kittens in the
century since they were founded. There are three Bide-a-Wee animal
shelters and adoption centers -- one in Manhattan, and two on Long Island, at
Wantagh and Westhampton.
Robbie dawg provides over 30 pounds of biscuits a month for the dogs to enjoy
prior to their adoption. Additionally, robbie dawg, inc. ®
donates 100 pouchette sampler packs each month to be given to the new owners at
the time of adoption. To find out more about adopting a dog, please visit the
Bide-a-Wee web site,

Other organizations robbie dawg, inc. ® has supported in the
past six months include: The DirectEffect AIDS Research Support Program, The
Berkeley Carroll School, The Peninsula Humane Society, HeartShare, The Good Dog
Foundation and more!
